LAHORE:Schools in Punjab are reopening in phases starting September 15 with 50 percent students attending classes each day according to the Provincial Education Minister Murad Raas.
Murad Raas took to Twitter informing about the decision regarding reopening schools in Punjab in phased manner with only 50 percent students being allowed to attend classes in one day to keep the spread of coronavirus under control.
According to the education minister, classes 9-12 will start from September 15 while classes 6-8 will resume from September 22. However, Nursery to class 5 will commence from September 30th during the last phase.
Furthermore, the education minister talked about schools in Punjab following an alternative day schedule where only 50 percent students will be allowed to attended classes in one day.
